Lucara Diamond Corp.

The Mokubilo community farming project in Botswana encompasses over 25 hectares and produces and sells cabbage, spinach, green pepper, tomatoes and eggs.  The initiative, supported by Lucara Diamond and the Lundin Foundation, currently employs 13 people including a university graduate from Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources.    Key project objectives are improving the nutritional status in the village as well as establishing a sustainable business operation ultimately independent of Lucara and the Lundin Foundation.
